Help using some of the Message Board Features

By clicking on the down arrow this will allow you to select a range of messages to see.
(Page 1) is the most recent messages, (page 2) is the next older messages. (Todays) means show the messages that have been posted in the last 24 hours.

Find

(Find) is for searching and displaying messages.

Older Messages

    Will take you to the messages that don't fit on
the most recent listing page.

Newest Page

   Brings you to the most recent message listing page.

Members

(Members) will give a list of the people who have registered with all of the message boards.
You must be registered to use this feature.

Login

To add messages, change registration information, etc.

You may only need to log in once for each session when you want to add
messages to the Message Board.
You don't enter a password when Logging in if you are not Registered.
If you are sharing a computer with some one else or you want to use
more than one name You can Log in Again.
(I have Logged in as Allan Smith and other times as allan)
If you are Registered then enter your password or your Registered name will not work.
Note- If You are not Registered ,
or Have recently Registered,
or Have Registered but never added any messages
Then your messages may be delayed until reviewed.
After adding messages during the review period
(approximately 1 to 4 days and/or 2 to 8 messages)
You may be upgraded to instant message posting status.

    To start a new message topic

Add Reply *

   When you are viewing a message you can click (Add Reply) to
add a message in the message list below the message you were viewing.

  *  The Name and Subject need information.
Entering your e-mail address is optional
If you enter your e-mail address on this form, People can send e-mail to you by clicking on your name in your message.

   Html tags are allowed in message body
    You can Add Html tags in your messages. This lets you add links and pictures
to your messages or change the way your text looks.
To use the Attachment feature click the browse button and select a picture .gif or .jpg)
or midi file from your computer
Maximum 200 K bytes upload size.

        Notify me on response
    If you Check the Box and are registered and you have included your e-mail address
in the Requested: e-mail given to administrator.. Area, when you registered
you can leave your e-mail address blank and when someone replies to your message
you will be sent an e-mail with the Reply message(s).
If you did not Register and fill in the Requested: e-mail given to administrator..
You must enter your e-mail address for this to work,
and your e-mail address will be available to everyone to see!

Your Name^®

    If you are registered and you click on your name in the messages list
you can edit or delete your message. 
After a minute or two Click list messages to see your change.(This takes a little while)
Your Message title on the Message list will have a different color for a while if you
have recently changed your message

Why Register?

If you are Registered you can change or delete any message you have posted by clicking on your name in the main message lists.
(As long as it is not archived)
If you have registered as (example) Joe and add a message,then next time you Login as joe and you want to edit or remove the message you posted as Joe then you must re-Login as Joe to do so.
(Upper case and lower case issue, J and j example.)

Your name can only be used by you with your password.

You may obtain access to be able to instantly add messages
to the Message board. (Please see Note)

    How do I Register?

You make your own password
Click Register
Fill in -
Name:             Password:         Retype Password:

The other items do not need to be filled in.
Please fill in the Requested: e-mail given to administrator..
(If you feel OK about this), this gives you more options.
You might receive a message board e-mail about message board items.
The only people who have access to your:
Requested: e-mail given to administrator.. E-mail address information will be
the message board administrators and helpers.
All items will show for everyone to see ,Except 
Requested: e-mail given to administrator.. & Your Password.

You make your own password. The Password can be any combination of letters
and numbers ,recommend between 4 to 10 characters .
(If you use more than one name 'like Allan Smith and allan you can use the same
password for both names. You must register twice though,once for each name)

When  Name:         E-mail:         Password:         Retype Password:
are filled in then click  the Enter button.

If all went well 
(your name is not already used and your password is typed correctly twice .....)
You are Registered!

If you loose your password and you have included your e-mail address in the
Requested: e-mail given to administrator.. when you registered,
then just Login with your user name and leave the password blank.
When the (Request lost password) appears click on it,
You will receive a new password sent to you by e-mail.
After you Login you can change your password by clicking (Modify your registration info)
Then you fill in the
(Password: ) and        (Retype Password: )
areas with the password you want and click
(submit).

How to change your registration information or password?

1. Click (Login) , then enter your login information and Click Enter
2. Click (Modify your registration info)
3. Make the changes you want.
4. Enter your Password in the Password and Retype Password areas.
OR
4. Enter the new password in the Password and Retype Password areas,
This will change your password.
5. Click Enter.
